This year, our team had the distinct privilege of joining RiseUp Summit 2025—the region’s leading gathering for entrepreneurship, innovation, and creative disruption. We were pleased to participate in Biban 24 Forum, where we showcased some of the startups within our entrepreneurial portfolio to create networking opportunities with investors, introduce these companies to the market, and connect with entrepreneurs interested in our programs, as well as meet prominent figures in entrepreneurship and leading government entities in the sector.

Biban is considered the world’s leading forum in the field of entrepreneurship, dedicated to empowering the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Kingdom for both local and international entrepreneurs. It features 9 thematic “Doors” under the slogan “A Global Destination for Opportunities”, aiming to foster a supportive environment, enhance managerial, financial, and technical capabilities, and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs to launch their projects. The forum also facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experiences between decision-makers, investors, and entrepreneurs, enriching the sector and promoting a culture of innovation to enter the business world.Our participation was through a booth featuring 10 of our startups, providing a great opportunity for us and for them. We were delighted to participate in LEAP 25, the largest technology event in the Middle East and North Africa, and one of the biggest tech conferences globally. The event hosted major international companies, with more than 1,800 exhibitors, 1,000 speakers, and 680 startups. LEAP offered over 20 specialized tracks covering diverse fields including FinTech, smart cities, health tech, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, retail, sports tech, and more.

Our participation through Tech Horizons Studio was a distinguished opportunity to showcase some of the startups and entrepreneurial projects within our portfolio, as we featured over 13 booths. It also served as a valuable platform to connect with pioneering companies and entities interested in our programs and services, such as the “Soft Landing” program, which aims to attract foreign companies, support their expansion into the Kingdom, and relocate their regional headquarters.

The event further provided a fruitful space to explore potential collaborations with key players in entrepreneurship, innovation, and venture capital funds

We had the pleasure to be hosted by the Saudi Association for the Global Innovation Institute, where our founder, Dr. Ahmed Altheneyan, was a guest speaker talking about Innovation and Entrepreneurship as key enabler for different sectors within KSA in achieving their strategic objectives.

Dr. Ahmed shared insights into the pivotal role of entrepreneurship and innovation within organizational to achieve its objective as a catalyst for innovation in the targeted sector, tackle the challenges the sector has, enhance the services provided, and build a sustainable economy driven by innovation. He explained how organizations can work on activating Innovation within the sector, supporting both internal innovation and external innovation, and enhancing the role of the Innovation Center in promoting innovation within the sector by enabling an integrated ecosystem to solve the challenges the sector has and seize the potential growth opportunities.

The event attracted a diverse audience of executives and individuals from different sectors passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation, reflecting the growing interest and commitment of individuals towards contributing to the realization of Vision 2030’s goals by activating entrepreneurship and innovation in their related sectors.

LEAP is a global tech event that brings together hundreds of thousands of attendees to discover what’s next for technology. Attendees can explore the latest innovations from hundreds of the world’s leading technology companies, hear from hundreds of experts and network with thousands of attendees. As a global tech event, LEAP is the meeting point for more than 170K regional and international tech professionals, startups, investors and policy makers.

It was a great opportunity for us to exhibit with some of our portfolio startups. It was alos a great networking opportunity for us to meet along startups interested in our programs such as soft-lander and explore potential collaboration with global venture builders and VCs.

Web Summit 2023 was conducted in Lisbon from November 14-16 and it was attended by more than 70K attendees, 2.300 startups and 1.200 investors from 153 countries along  founders & CEOs of technology companies, fast-growing startups, policymakers and governmental officials to align and collaborate.

It was a great networking opportunity for us to meet along startups interested in our programs such as soft-lander and explore potential collaboration with global venture builders and VCs.

Tech Horizons participated in the 2nd edition of the “Digital Government Forum” which was held between December 19th and 20th, 2023, under the theme “Our Future is Now”. The Forum includes the participation of several government agencies, ministers, experts, specialists, and decision-makers in the field of digital government at the local and international levels.

The Forum aims to highlight the achievements of government agencies, showcase their  success stories, enable digital community leaders  to meet and communicate, exchange experiences, build partnerships, discuss the challenges and future directions of digital government, explore the best modern technical practices, and learn about investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
